Workload
See who has too much, and move work with a drag
Each row is a person and each column a day or a week, with a bar that fills up as work is planned. Red shows who is over. Open a person to see their tasks and drag one to another day or to someone else. Tasks with no date wait in a panel at the side.
Who has how much, day by day, and who is over.
What is workload?
A workload view answers one question before someone burns out: who has too much next week, and who has room? It shows it with the tasks that are already there, so no separate planning is needed.
How to balance workload
See it, then fix it.
- 1
Open Workload
Add the Workload view to a project, or open it for a whole team.
- 2
See who is over
Bars turn red when someone has more than their capacity. Open that person to see their tasks.
- 3
Move work
Drag a task to a free day or to another person, or undo it from the message that appears.
Who uses workload?
Monday planning
A team lead sees the week at a glance and moves two tasks before anyone falls behind.
A long project
Eight weeks by person show when the team will be short, long before it happens.
Capabilities at a glance
- Capacity for each person, by day or week
- Hours, tasks or points
- Drag to another day or person, with undo
