FAQ
Common questions
How do engineers keep coding time free?
Add a "Deep work" habit, for example on weekdays, in the morning, 2 hours long, with auto-schedule on. Auto-schedule books habits before tasks, so the rest of the work is planned around it. A task locked at a time keeps its place too.
Can BusyBee.Day replace Linear for bug tracking?
For small to mid-sized teams, often yes: task types, priorities, story points, sprints like Linear's cycles, custom fields, Board and Table views, comments and a project activity log. Triage queues are not built in.
Does BusyBee.Day integrate with GitHub?
Through webhooks. Outgoing webhooks send task events (created, updated, completed, assigned and more) to any URL. Incoming webhooks can check GitHub's X-Hub-Signature-256 signature and create, update or complete a task, or add a comment, using JSON-path mapping.
Can scripts use BusyBee.Day?
Yes. The REST API takes the same access token as the web app, and the MCP server accepts Personal Access Tokens from Settings > API & MCP.
