Recurring Tasks

Tasks that repeat daily, weekly, every two weeks or monthly

Set a task to repeat Daily, Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly. Only the current task exists; when you complete it, the next one is created with the same details, and calendars show the coming occurrences in advance. When you change it, edit this event or this and the following ones.

Quick answer

What is recurring tasks?

A recurring task repeats on a schedule. In BusyBee.Day a series is one task that moves forward each time you complete it, so a missed day leaves one overdue task rather than a stack of them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What recurrence patterns does BusyBee.Day support?

Daily, Weekly, Biweekly (every two weeks) and Monthly (the same date each month).

Can I update one occurrence without changing the series?

Yes. When you change a recurring task you choose Just this task, or All future tasks to copy the change to the rest of the series.

Why do I not see future copies in my list?

A series keeps only its current task. The next one is created when you complete it, and calendars show the coming occurrences in advance.

Do recurring tasks auto-schedule onto the calendar?

Yes. The current occurrence is planned like any other task.
