MCP Server for AI Assistants

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini and any MCP client to BusyBee.Day

Paste one URL into your AI assistant and sign in to BusyBee.Day; the assistant can then read and change your tasks, projects, habits, documents and databases when you ask. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1, so there are no keys to copy. For scripts, create a Personal Access Token in Settings > API & MCP.

What is mcp server for ai assistants?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard introduced by Anthropic in 2024 for connecting AI assistants to other systems through tool calls. BusyBee.Day's MCP server lets any MCP-compatible assistant manage your tasks, projects, habits and documents when you ask it to.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol, an open standard introduced by Anthropic in 2024 for connecting AI assistants to other systems through tool calls.

Which AI assistants work with BusyBee.Day MCP?

Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI and any other client that connects to remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP.

Is my data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic during MCP calls?

Only what a tool call returns. The assistant asks BusyBee.Day for something, BusyBee.Day answers that call, and the assistant uses the answer in its reply. Nothing is sent in the background.

Can I limit a token to reading?

Yes. A Personal Access Token is read-only or read and write. When an assistant connects with OAuth, the sign-in page lists what it will be allowed to do.

How do I revoke access?

In Settings > API & MCP, revoke a token or disconnect an assistant. It stops working at once.
