Add up to 7 types of custom fields per task: short text, number, checkbox, date, single-select with colored options, multi-select, and URL. Fields are global (across all tasks) or project-scoped. Filter, sort, and group by any field in the table view.

Qu'est-ce que custom fields ?
A custom field is a user-defined property on a task - like an extra column in a spreadsheet - that lets the workspace adapt to your team's vocabulary. BusyBee.Day's custom fields support seven types and work across all six project views.
How to add custom fields in BusyBee.Day
Define a field once; it appears on every task in scope.

Open Custom Fields
Settings → Custom Fields, or click + Field on any task.

Pick a type and name
Choose text, number, checkbox, date, select, multi-select, or URL. Name it (e.g., "Story Points").

Set the scope
Global = applies to every task in your workspace. Project-scoped = applies only inside a single project.

For select/multi-select, define options
Add option labels with colored chips (e.g., Discovery → purple, Build → blue, Shipped → green).

Use in views
Custom fields appear as columns in table view, properties in detail view, and are filterable everywhere.

Number field "Story Points" (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13). Sum at the section level shows sprint capacity.
Agency - client + estimate
Text field "Client", number "Estimate (hrs)", URL "Figma link". Filter by client to see total billable hours.
Recruiting - stage + URL
Single-select "Stage" (Inbox, Phone, Onsite, Offer, Hired). URL "Portfolio link". Group table by stage.
Sales - deal data
Number "Deal value", date "Close date", select "Stage" with conversion colors.
