An AI productivity assistant is software that helps you plan, schedule, and execute work using natural language. BusyBee.Day splits this into three surfaces that match how you actually work: a real multi-thread chat for planning, per-task actions for editing, and a global Ask-AI shortcut for everything else.

Open the assistant
Click the Sparkles icon or press Cmd/Ctrl+I from any page. Your past conversations sit in the left rail, pinned at the top.

Start a new chat
"New chat" creates a fresh thread. Type a planning question in your own language - BusyBee.Day speaks 22. The thread is auto-titled after your second message.

Run per-task AI
Open any task, click the ⋮ menu, pick Break into subtasks / Summarize / Polish title / Suggest due date. Each action previews a diff before applying.

Ask AI from anywhere
Cmd/Ctrl+I opens a global mini chat on top of whatever view you are on. The page route is passed as context so the assistant knows where you are.

Track your credits
Settings → Subscription shows your monthly AI credits and what each AI feature used. Every plan has a clear monthly amount, and nothing is ever charged beyond it.

Keep one chat per project or initiative. Pin "Q3 launch plan", keep "Daily standup notes" running, and search them all without losing context.

Break a vague task into work

You write "Ship the new pricing page" - one click on Break into subtasks turns it into 5 concrete steps the AI proposes; you accept or edit.

Polish noisy titles in seconds

After a brainstorm dump, run Polish title on each card. The AI rewrites them action-oriented under 70 chars, you approve.

Ask quick questions on any page

On the Inbox view, Cmd+I -> "What three items should I triage first?" The assistant sees you are on Inbox and answers in context.

Work in your own language

Write a Slovak prompt, get a Slovak reply. Polish in, Polish out. We did not bolt on translation - the LLM responds natively in your UI locale.

Does the AI assistant keep chat history?

Yes. Every conversation is saved server-side with auto-generated titles after your second message. You can pin, rename, search, and soft-delete threads. History survives device switches and 401 sessions because it lives on the server, not in localStorage.

How do per-task AI actions work?

Open any task, click the ⋮ menu, pick an AI action: Break into subtasks, Summarize comments, Suggest due date, or Polish title. Each action runs an LLM call against just that task, returns a proposal, and shows a diff preview before applying. You accept or reject - the AI never mutates a task silently.

What is the Ask AI shortcut?

Cmd/Ctrl+I from any page opens a global mini chat on top of whatever view you are on. The current route is passed as context so the assistant knows you are on Inbox, Planner, a specific project, etc. You can "Open full chat" to hop into the main assistant page if the answer needs a full thread.

In which language does the AI reply?

By default, the AI replies in your UI language. BusyBee.Day ships UI translations for 22 locales: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Slovak, Czech (planned), Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Bengali, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Urdu, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil. The AI honours your locale natively - Slovak in, Slovak out.

How is AI usage priced?

BusyBee.Day uses monthly AI credits: one credit is what a cent of AI costs us, so a quick add uses about 0.1 credit and a bot answer on a fast model about 1. Bots and AI features share the same credits, and nothing is charged beyond them. Free: 30 credits/mo. Basic: 380. Pro: 1,150. Max: 4,000. Team: 1,000 per member. The Subscription page shows what each feature used.

Which model do you use?

The assistant, quick add and per-task AI actions run on Google Gemini 3 Flash. Bots let you choose from 20 models by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others. We never train models on your data.

What is the difference between the assistant and bots?

The assistant answers and edits right away: a chat, one-click task actions and quick add. Bots take a whole task and work on it in several steps, with web search, documents, connected apps such as Notion or GitHub and, on Pro and above, their own computer. Both use the same monthly credits.

Is the chat history private?

Yes. Conversations are scoped to your user and never shared with teammates unless you explicitly do so. Soft-deleted threads sit in Trash within your plan retention window and are then permanently removed. We do not use your messages to train any model.
