How to set up a project in BusyBee.Day

Create a project, choose a default view, add tasks, and share with your team.

    Create the project

    Click + Add Project. Pick a name, color, default layout (Kanban / Table / Timeline / etc.), and assign it to a team or personal workspace.

    Add sections (optional)

    Sections become Kanban columns or table groups. Examples: Backlog, In Progress, Review, Shipped.

    Capture tasks

    Add tasks via natural language, drag-and-drop, or by importing a CSV. Each task carries priority, custom fields, and assignee.

    Switch views as needed

    Tap any view tab - Kanban, list, table, calendar, timeline, gallery - to see the same data differently.

    Share with stakeholders

    Generate a public link for read-only access, or invite collaborators by email with role-based permissions (Member, Client, Viewer).

Yes. Generate a public share link for any project. External viewers can see tasks, search, sort, and expand details without creating a BusyBee.Day account.

Does the table view support filtering and grouping?

Yes. Filter by project, status, priority, assignee, labels, and date. Group tasks by any property. Configure column visibility and ordering. Save filter combinations as custom views.

Does BusyBee.Day support Gantt charts?

Yes. The timeline view is a Gantt-style chart with drag-to-reschedule, dependency lines (Pro plan), and milestone markers. It works on the same data as the Kanban and table views.

Can different team members see different project views?
